Professional Summary

Jinni’s introduction to clay resulted from a need to have something to occupy her time after retirement in 2005.  Her desire to work creatively with her hands was the outcome of wanting to do something that would differ from a 24 year career as an investment advisor and financial planner.  Taking a ceramics class from Dennis Ott at the Sedona Arts Center was, as they say….the beginning of a beautiful friendship…and a new career as a potter.

Jinni has been taking consecutive classes at the arts center since February of 2005, with additional workshops both in Sedona and Santa Fe, NM.  She now has her own studio and is building an inventory which will allow her to market her pieces.

Jinni and her husband Rick have always been avid arts supporters and collectors.  Jinni has been an active board member of several arts organizations in Wilmington, DE where she spent her career and, since moving to Sedona, joined the board of the Sedona Arts Center in November 2005 as their Treasurer.
